Scriptorium is a note-taking app for sermons and Bible study, for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what the app collects, what reaches us, and the choices you have.
The app collects nothing. Your notes, notebooks, tags and settings are kept on your device, and there's no account, analytics, advertising or tracking. The Bible text is built in, so the app works offline.
We only receive information you or Apple send us, such as an email you write to us; crash reports, if you've chosen to share analytics with app developers on your device; and, if you test a beta through TestFlight, your name, email address, feedback and crash reports.
Only to reply to you and to fix problems in the app. We never use it for advertising.
We do not sell or share personal information. Our email provider stores the emails you send us on our behalf, and Apple handles crash reports and TestFlight under its own privacy policy. When you share a note, it goes to the app or person you choose.
Your notes stay on your device until you delete them. Deleted notes go to Trash until you restore them or delete them permanently. Deleting the app deletes its notes from that device, though a backup of the device (iCloud Backup or a computer) still holds them. We keep emails only as long as we need them to help you.
Your notes are protected by your device's own security. The app's diagnostic logs never include anything you write.
Your notes are yours to delete in the app at any time. To review or delete anything we hold about you, such as an email you sent, contact [email protected]. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the UK's data protection regulator at ico.org.uk.
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above.
